The family legacy started with Craig’s father. “When I (Craig) was a little boy, my father was a builder and had his own company. I spent a lot of time with him and learned a lot through working with him. I love to build. I’ve been doing it my whole life. I really enjoy being able to figure out what people want in a home and creating that for them. That’s very exciting for me.”

Following in his father’s footsteps, Craig started his own homebuilding company, Greenspring Homes. Eventually Craig’s son Brenden started working for the company as well, continuing the father-son tradition.

These days so many things have become automated. Homes, however, are still handcrafted. And they need a high level of detail and finishing. We want trims to finish correctly, and we want the wood of the floor to meet the top of the stairs correctly. Our Production Manager, who builds fine cabinetry, has extraordinary attention to detail. This allows us to build your home with the exact details and finishes you desire.

The quality of our work is so important to us that we focus on growing our company in quality, not quantity. To ensure high quality that stands the test of time, we limit the number of homes we build at a given time.
