Builder
Craig is a veteran of Maryland homebuilding and has been building since 1980. His extensive knowledge of the building process helps bring your ideas to life, and his goal is for every Greenspring customer to be completely satisfied, down to the last detail. Craig’s lifelong passion for building started with his father and has now been passed to his son, Boomer.
Brenden "Boomer" Carlson, CPA
CFO
Brenden began as a Certified Public Accountant at a Big Four firm before joining Greenspring Homes. As CFO he manages day-to-day operations and strategy, from purchasing to selecting top contractors, ensuring the best quality products at the most competitive price.
The family legacy started with Craig’s father. Following in his footsteps, Craig started Greenspring Homes, and eventually his son Brenden joined the company, continuing the father-son tradition. Together they bring different strengths: Craig’s decades of building knowledge and Brenden’s numbers-driven eye for value, which keeps projects on budget and delivers customers the best possible home for their money.

So many things have become automated, but homes are still handcrafted, and they need a high level of detail and finishing. We want trims to finish correctly and the floor to meet the stairs correctly. Our production manager, who builds fine cabinetry, brings extraordinary attention to detail.
The quality of our work matters so much that we grow in quality, not quantity. To ensure work that stands the test of time, we limit the number of homes we build at once.
